this is the case with CachCard, we suspect that they

imperils the money in everyone's account. In other
words, don't bet that they have all of the money
needed to meet withdrawals.
2. Onerous Privacy Invasion: Probably in response to
losses from the Visa and MasterCard fiasco, they have
now instituted outrageous, privacy invasive demands
for account holders. We recommend that YOU NOT COMPLY
with these ridiculous demands, and that you vote with
your feet by boycotting those affiliate program
operators, MLM's etc. who only make commission
payments through CachCard.
If someone wants to invade my privacy, I most
certainly don't want to do business with them or
anyone else associated with them. Make it hurt by
withdrawing your support for companies who do not
provide alternative means of payment.

and friends that you STAY AWAY FROM CACHCARD and

Warning About Cache Card

Trojan attempt offered through FREE download
Trojan attempt offered through FREE download
HYIP Lister NOT all it's suppose to be
This weekend not only saw Christmas cheer and
goodwill, it also saw an attempt to infect your
computer by someone offering a free download of a
software product named "HYIP Lister."
The software claimed to be offered for free for a
limited time only. The email claims that once the
software is considered popular they will place a cost
for the software. This is an enticement to download.
According to reports the software offered, is a Trojan
worm waiting patiently for computer users who are not
protected. The software may well work as described but
it is likely also going to be able to send information
from your computer to the hacker at the other end.
Did you receive this?
Here is the description of the software as copied from
the email received on Christmas day;
HYIP Lister is a fully-featured HYIP listing and
reporting tool. It will generate and shows you
statistic of HYIP's. It takes information of many
websites, forums, and then generate statistic after
that it shows it to you and you can easily decide
witch HYIP is better to choose.
This tool is for free NOW. But in future we can take a
little payment for it, if it will be popular.

The link provided in the email goes to
http://gig5.com/hyiplister/hyiplister.exe. The domain
name is registered to Longcrest Technologies by
someone named Patrick Long. This individual is using
email address [lcrestco@yahoo.com] in the
registration. The mailing information for this domain
has the person living in Mosinee Wisconsin.
The domain has been registered since June 26, 2002 and
is set to expire on the same day in 2005. Possibly
this domain name has been purchased in the past and
changes to the registration never happened. It is also
possible the name of the person in the registration is
false. As well it is always possible a hacker has
control of Longcrest's site.
The email originated from a server using IP Address
[162.42.208.244]. The server is owned by Cybertrails
from Phoenix Arizona. The email address used
originates from the domain name.
Trojan or Adware?
In the case of this software, there is no doubt it
should NOT be downloaded at any cost. It is obvious
because this email came to you as Spam. Actually the
truth is the email came to you from an Admin of a
former program you were in or through a mailing list
that has been sold hundreds perhaps thousands of
times.
Many computer users have multiple programs presently
operating on their computer, designed to scan for
Trojans and assorted Adware. This HYIP Lister software
"can" be considered a working product if downloaded
and working. It depends on your software settings to
determine if an alarm will be sounded.
When your computer warns you of an attempt to infect,
it may well be Adware. Any Spyware, anti-virus,
anti-trojan or firewall software will likely sound the
alarm if an application can or does attempt to connect
your computer to the Internet.
The fact that the email arrived as Spam is normally
enough of a reason to delete. The idea that the
software is related to High Yield as well is MORE than
enough reason to consider the download a Trojan to
more than likely act as a Keylogger.
If you happened to download the application and your
security software did not sound an alarm there may be
some vulnerabilities in your system. The Trojan
attempt has only one purpose and that is financial
gain.
Simply removing the application from your system may
not do the trick. Your computer should be scanned by
an outside source. Numerous anti-virus sites offer a
free scan of your system. As well it is possible your
security software are not up to date.
If this is your computer being discussed here and you
opt not to protect your computer, you are setting
yourself up for future problems. There is only so long
you can get away without securing your computer.
By keeping your computer unprotected, it is like you
are standing in line at a thrill park waiting for your
turn on a popular ride. Eventually it will be your
turn and you will likely enjoy the ride, but on the
Internet once it is your turn, life takes a major
change. Hackers have a way of making people feel
helpless, don't become a victim.
For the hackers this is a game of numbers and the odds
of you becoming a victim increase everyday. New lists
are bought and sold every minute of every hour of
every day. Maybe the amount of Spam you get is
minimal, but the more you sign up to high yield
programs, the more your email is being distributed
around the world.
The Admin of failed programs eventually return. Some
sell your email address multiple times, others protect
their list for future schemes. All in all your address
is rarely used for anything but Spam. For an Admin who
has no scruples he or she will sell a list without
care. The list is then resold again usually as part of
a larger list.
It's a dog eat dog world out there and the mask of the
Internet allows Hackers and Spammers to freely
distribute without much fear of the authorities. The
odds are definitely in their favor and they are
knocking at our doors.

New Offshore products and services

Beware the con artist scum and their "verification"
Yesterday, we received the follwing message from the
con artists running Studio Traffic and now "Studio

3. You have also given these con artists your SSN and
other sensitive personal verificaiton information.
With this informaiton, they can impersonate you, and

Watch out for IntGold
The exchange provider CapitalX has been raising red
flags lately about IntGold.
We do not know if these complaints are for real or
not, as CapitalX is a fairly new exchanger and lacks a
certain amount of credibility at this point as we have
never used them.
However, if any of you have had simillar problems with
IntGold, please share it with the lists so that we can
get to the bottom of it.

Fwd: [PT] Very strange developments
Read this message very carefully. For those on our
lists who have read "The Science of Getting Rich" and
have listened to our success lessons at Destiny
Central, and have begun to learn what the universe is
really like,and how our minds can affect that
universe, this will not come as much of a surprise.
Rather, it is a vindication of what Wallace Wattles
wrote so long ago, that the universe is "formed of

At last, hard science is catching up with what Wattles
and others have been saying for a long, long time.
What needs to happen is for us to become a super
conductor. We need to impress our thoughts and
consciousness onto the formless stuff, and the
universe we want can manifest itself for us.
To put it simply, if we don't like the so called
"reality" we appear to be in, we have the power to
change it. If it is just us who wants this change,
the act of impressing these thoughts on the universe
may actually shift us into a universe where our dreams
really can and do come true.
Read this fascinating and uplifting story below, and
then realize that by putting your foot on the true
road to success and abundance and joy, you are
actually half way there already.

What needs to happen is for us to become a super
conductor. We need to impress our thoughts and
consciousness onto the formless stuff, and the
universe we want can manifest itself for us.

"reality" we appear to be in, we have the power to
change it. If it is just us who wants this change,
the act of impressing these thoughts on the universe
may actually shift us into a universe where our dreams
really can and do come true.

This is what happens to real programs run from the USSA
I have said this before, and I will say it again: you
cannot run a successful honest program from the USSA.
The scammers like Osgold have absolutely nothing
happen to them. It would be easy for the FEDGOV to
trace down Reed, extradite him, freeze his accounts,
liquidate his hotels and other holdings, etc., but
they don't do that.
They could care less that you were ripped off by this
scum.
But, they DO go after honest programs and seek to shut
them down, because they can't let the "little people"
escape from their slavery to a JOB.
That is why LOCATION is important for a program as
well as it is for real estate. If an honest program
is stupid enough to operate frm the USSA, the UK, or
some other places, they will eventually bite the dust.
Even offshore you have no guarantee these days, but
you have a better chance.

We were not involved in this one, but in case any of
you are, here are the FACTS and please pass these
along.

this is an important lesson of where NOT to keep or
invest your money.

attorney's faith in the US "justice" system is
touching, but they will soon find out there is none, I

As of this day until further notice Crown Inc will not
be accepting further deposits. Although I have
personally seen the portfolio of legitimate businesses
Crown Inc is involved with to earn the money, a major
one even displayed on the stock exchange, SMPP, the
boss has now come under investigation by big brother,
SEC, for running a ponzi scheme. Folks, Crown Inc has
paid everyone for four years straight; NO MISSED
PAYMENTS except for Sept and Oct 2004 after SEC froze
ALL of their bank accounts, onshore as well as
offshore. This is not about his legitimacy, but about
keeping money away from us slaves; and stealing big
money for black opps government use. He has much
proof of receipts of these businesses, I have seen
them as well as the portfolio of businesses which made
the earnings. In some months withdrawals exceeded
money sent in and these were paid; ponzis don't work
that way.
Court date was Nov 1,2004, and an injunction was
handed down that essentially froze all assets and put
them in receivership. But as I understand it, Randy
has not yet been able to present his case. Go to

cases on the right hand side and one of them is Learn
Waterhouse. Crown Inc holdings were part of Learn
Waterhouse. Having been privileged to know the
workings of this company, I consider this an atrocity.
And we all know what happens when government gets

OsGold, OsOpps, Income Ventures, Crystal Capstone, E
Biz, Rent and Mortgage, EvoCash, and many other
similar situations in which government stepped in but
never allocated anything to anybody except themselves.
My only guess in this matter is that their venturing
into the bank trading arena which is loathe with
dishonest people, especially at the upper echelon
levels with which they were dealing, put the
businesses side of the portfolio in jeopardy. This is
only speculation on my part at this part in time. I
am also told there was a vendetta involved here.
When and if this is resolved Crown Inc will again
resume taking in funds. Don't send me emails to

As of this day until further notice Crown Inc will not
be accepting further deposits. Although I have
personally seen the portfolio of legitimate businesses
Crown Inc is involved with to earn the money, a major
one even displayed on the stock exchange, SMPP, the
boss has now come under investigation by big brother,
SEC, for running a ponzi scheme. Folks, Crown Inc has
paid everyone for four years straight; NO MISSED
PAYMENTS except for Sept and Oct 2004 after SEC froze
ALL of their bank accounts, onshore as well as
offshore. This is not about his legitimacy, but about
keeping money away from us slaves; and stealing big
money for black opps government use. He has much
proof of receipts of these businesses, I have seen
them as well as the portfolio of businesses which made
the earnings. In some months withdrawals exceeded
money sent in and these were paid; ponzis don't work
that way.
Court date was Nov 1,2004, and an injunction was
handed down that essentially froze all assets and put
them in receivership. But as I understand it, Randy
has not yet been able to present his case. Go to

Waterhouse. Crown Inc holdings were part of Learn
Waterhouse. Having been privileged to know the
workings of this company, I consider this an atrocity.
And we all know what happens when government gets

OsGold, OsOpps, Income Ventures, Crystal Capstone, E
Biz, Rent and Mortgage, EvoCash, and many other
similar situations in which government stepped in but
never allocated anything to anybody except themselves.
My only guess in this matter is that their venturing
into the bank trading arena which is loathe with
dishonest people, especially at the upper echelon
levels with which they were dealing, put the
businesses side of the portfolio in jeopardy. This is
only speculation on my part at this part in time. I
am also told there was a vendetta involved here.
When and if this is resolved Crown Inc will again
resume taking in funds. Don't send me emails to

Error in Newsletter
Sorry, folks, I caught one error in the newsletter
after I hit send, but it is non critical.
The Table of Contents does not list our exciting NEWS
DIGEST section, which is the last section of the
newsletter.
This section is very informative, because it has FULL
COVERAGE of the Evocash downtime and Xchanger's
decision to drop Evocash from the currencies they
deal in.
That, plus lots more exciting NEWS you won't want to
miss.
Also, I know that in some email clients there is a
formatting problem. Most email readers display our
newsletters properly, but some don't, including this
one I am using right now. For those that improperly
display the newsletter, lines will be a bit jumbled,
etc, but you can still read the content.
I believe I have a solution to this, and will
experiment on it next week.
We also have some exciting new programs, plus I will
be adding a WHOLE NEW program section of lower yield,
and therefore, theoretically, "safer" programs. I
have found a very interesting safelist just bulging
with these, and most have been a around a while to.
Hopefully by next week I will have some of these joined.
One program I wanted to list today prefers Evocash,
and since I have some in my account, I would like to
oblige, except that they are DOWN right now. so that
one will wait until the Evocash problem is resolved.
I figure I might as well get those Evos working if
they still even exist!

*Online Lottery schemes. A form of Advanced fee scam
If it is an advanced fee, it is likely a scam
If you are like many other people who currently use
cable or aDSL
services, you leave your computer online at all times
even when you
are sleeping. You get up in the morning and open your
email and find an
email with the subject of "Grand Prize Winner."
Normally these email come with the subject and
portions of the email in
capital letters. This is common for most spammers and
scammers. For
some reason using capitals is the way many scammers
give themselves
away. When it comes to online lotteries, they are all
scams.
In most cases you can easily spot the scam. The email
is more than
likely received to an email address that is at times
older than most
programs you are in. The concept around the lottery
winning scheme is
similar to how Nigerian 419 scams are drawn out.
Like 419 scams, lottery schemes will also require you
the "winner" to
make an advanced fee payment to cover the "costs" to
transfer the funds.
This is where the scam is centered a round your
advanced fee payment.
How much is the advanced fee? This is usually
determined by who is
running the scam and through any future
correspondence you may have
before the funds are to be sent. Either way the fee
usually ranges from a
few hundred to possibly a couple of thousand dollars.
According to most of the policing authorities, all
opportunities that
require an advanced fee payment should be considered
as a scam. Any
reputable company would not require such a fee to be
paid up front. Here

I received the following email this morning from one
of my safelists. I have verified that Xchangers has
taken Evocash off its list of currencies. I have also
verified that the Evocash site says "down for
maintenance."
That Xchangers would stop dealing in Evocash is strange,
since there is ample evidence that they are one and the
same company. So the question is: Is Evocash a
fractional
reserve currency that has finally collapsed, and, if so,
are the owners trying to "salvage something" by keeping
their Xchangers operation open?
Only time will tell. Here is the email alert below:
I received this from another listowner, I have
no idea why this would be such a crisis to the
other ecurrencies as he states below. I can see
it being a crisis to the people who have money
in there. I also am not sure of his statement
that Evo is the only ecurrency not backed by
gold. perhaps that might be more accurate to
read they are the only ecurrency not CLAIMING to
be backed by gold.

The next 24-48 hours are going to be critical to

X-changers has stopped processing any evo-cash
exchanges. No explanation from x-changers yet

according to the site. There was no advance
notice that I know of.
There was no notice from evo-cash of the
breaking off of relations with x-changer.
My personal feeling is that goes back to
evo-cash seizing funds belonging to FLO and
refusing to account for them. X-changer was
taking a lot of flack over that when they were
completely on the outside.
What can we do? Not a darn thing except keep in
close touch with the situation. It is going to
have a huge effect on all programs unless the
situation is resolved with no further delay

FLO Situation MUST be responded to
Since the end of August 2004, the relationship
between EvoCash and
X-Changers has been pushed to the brink. For over
five years EvoCash
and X-Changers have had an excellent working
arrangement, this has now
come to a head due to the freezing of FLO funds.
The announcement was not made public like the time
when EvoCash
actually froze the FLO funds. The announcement has
been quietly made
between X-Changers and EvoCash.
The e-Told Reports have learned that the stoppage of
out-exchanges
commenced on October 13, 2004. At that time any
exchanges dealing with
either funding or out-exchanging of EvoCash have been
returned.
X-changers does state that they will continue to
offer EvoCash once the
funds embroiled in the dispute are returned to where
they came from.
The main reason X-changers have gone to this extreme
measure is because
of the lack of comment coming from EvoCash.
X-Changers has had to deal
with much of the complaining from customers. Many
serious believe that
X-changers and EvoCash are associated. The only
association between these
two entities is business.
While EvoCash continues to hold the funds and makes
no announcement as
to when, where, or how the funds will be distributed,
X-Changers has had
to deal with having their personal reputation and
credibility destroyed
due to the silence of EvoCash is working on this
problem.
At the beginning of October, it was announced that
the Government of
Denmark had shut down CashChange from doing business.
With X-changers
stopping exchanges from EvoCash, it leaves EvoCash
with no main
exchanger. There are still many reputable exchangers
handling EvoCash.
The X-changers move to cease dealing with exchanging
EvoCash is considered
to be temporary. Once the funds held in FLO accounts
are distributed back
to where they belong, X-Changers will more than
likely return to a normal
business relationship.

*Golden Corp accused of Theft
Making THEIR life better with YOUR gold
The group that are running http://www.golden-corp.com
has been accused
of not completing the tasks promised by the
information posted on the
web site. The program has been reported due to
incomplete payouts on
the 9% non-compounded plan being offered.
The report shows that only 8 of 18 payments were
completed and that
makes for 72% of the total principle has been
returned. Many programs
tend to follow this angle by holding back a portion
of the funds as
profit for the Admin.
In many cases a program will hold back payments
because the program
has failed to bring in enough players and funds.
Since the program has
stopped paying, the Admin has posted a couple of high
priced investment
plans that seem to be simply there to steal more gold.
One of the new plans offers non-compounding while the
other includes
compounding. The non-compounding plan offers 12%
daily for 20 days,
with a minimum spend of $1,000.00 The second plan
that is compounding
also has a minimum spend of $1,000.00. Both are
offering the deposits
to be 100% secure. This of course is false information.
The so-called compounded long-term 60-day plan is
also one to not invest
in. The report includes the fact that some funds were
placed into this
compounded plan. The complaint goes on to state that
they are not
expecting any returns from this program.
The domain was created on the 13th of August 2004.
The domain
registration was made out to a Maury Simon who is
using email
address [info@golden-corp.com]. The mailing
information has this
person living in Arlington Texas. The domain is being
maintained
through ns1.xp-hosting.com.
*ID thieves target enterprises; more than 50
companies victims of scam
As an Internet surfer you have seen and read about
the methods used by
criminals to steal your identity. The criminals are
now assuming the
names of legitimate companies and creating web sites
for the purpose of
theft.
The web site is set up under the name of a reputable
company. The
scammers then apply for merchant accounts and set up
credit card
processing on the web site. Orders are then placed
through the fake
sites for the purpose of raking in a sizable profit.
The revenue is then sent to separate accounts so that
the money is not
as traceable. By the time the crime is spotted the
scammers have put
away a fair amount of money from the scheme.
Numerous companies have fallen for this scheme. One
company called
T-Data was given a bill for $15,000.00 in credit
fees. Along with
T-Data there are some 50 other firms that have been
victims of this
identity theft.
John Leyden from the Register wrote the following
article, which can be

ID thieves are going corporate. Assuming the identity
of consumers to
obtain loans and credit cards under assumed names has
become the US's
fastest growing crime. Now fraudsters are applying
similar tricks
against potential enterprise victims.
Here's how it works. Crooks set up web sites under
the names of
legitimate companies and apply for merchant status
with credit card
payment processing firms. Next they put orders
through these bogus
sites using credit cards, raking off a tidy
percentage in the process.
Crooks direct these illicit revenues to separate
accounts in the hope
they'll be able to draw out a sizable wedge by the
time their ruse
is rumbled. The trick is to obtain numerous merchant
accounts for each
bogus site.

*Online Lottery schemes. A form of Advanced fee scam
If it is an advanced fee, it is likely a scam
If you are like many other people who currently use
cable or aDSL
services, you leave your computer online at all times
even when you
are sleeping. You get up in the morning and open your
email and find an
email with the subject of "Grand Prize Winner."
Normally these email come with the subject and
portions of the email in
capital letters. This is common for most spammers and
scammers. For
some reason using capitals is the way many scammers
give themselves
away. When it comes to online lotteries, they are all
scams.
In most cases you can easily spot the scam. The email
is more than
likely received to an email address that is at times
older than most
programs you are in. The concept around the lottery
winning scheme is
similar to how Nigerian 419 scams are drawn out.
Like 419 scams, lottery schemes will also require you
the "winner" to
make an advanced fee payment to cover the "costs" to
transfer the funds.
This is where the scam is centered a round your
advanced fee payment.
How much is the advanced fee? This is usually
determined by who is
running the scam and through any future
correspondence you may have
before the funds are to be sent. Either way the fee
usually ranges from a
few hundred to possibly a couple of thousand dollars.
According to most of the policing authorities, all
opportunities that
require an advanced fee payment should be considered
as a scam. Any
reputable company would not require such a fee to be
paid up front. Here

*Evocash Gone?
I received the following email this morning from one
of my safelists. I have verified that Xchangers has
taken Evocash off its list of currencies. I have also
verified that the Evocash site says "down for
maintenance."
That Xchangers would stop dealing in Evocash is strange,
since there is ample evidence that they are one and the
same company. So the question is: Is Evocash a
fractional
reserve currency that has finally collapsed, and, if so,
are the owners trying to "salvage something" by keeping
their Xchangers operation open?
Only time will tell. Here is the email alert below:
I received this from another listowner, I have
no idea why this would be such a crisis to the
other ecurrencies as he states below. I can see
it being a crisis to the people who have money
in there. I also am not sure of his statement
that Evo is the only ecurrency not backed by
gold. perhaps that might be more accurate to
read they are the only ecurrency not CLAIMING to
be backed by gold.
anyway, just FYI

The next 24-48 hours are going to be critical to
the survival of the e-currency field!
X-changers has stopped processing any evo-cash
exchanges. No explanation from x-changers yet
as to the reasons. evo-cash is the only major
e-currency not backed by gold!!
The Evo-cash web site is down for maintenance
according to the site. There was no advance
notice that I know of.
There was no notice from evo-cash of the
breaking off of relations with x-changer.
My personal feeling is that goes back to
evo-cash seizing funds belonging to FLO and
refusing to account for them. X-changer was
taking a lot of flack over that when they were
completely on the outside.
What can we do? Not a darn thing except keep in
close touch with the situation. It is going to
have a huge effect on all programs unless the
situation is resolved with no further delay

X-Changers ceases EvoCash exchanges
FLO Situation MUST be responded to
Since the end of August 2004, the relationship
between EvoCash and
X-Changers has been pushed to the brink. For over
five years EvoCash
and X-Changers have had an excellent working
arrangement, this has now
come to a head due to the freezing of FLO funds.
The announcement was not made public like the time
when EvoCash
actually froze the FLO funds. The announcement has
been quietly made
between X-Changers and EvoCash.
The e-Told Reports have learned that the stoppage of
out-exchanges
commenced on October 13, 2004. At that time any
exchanges dealing with
either funding or out-exchanging of EvoCash have been
returned.
X-changers does state that they will continue to
offer EvoCash once the
funds embroiled in the dispute are returned to where
they came from.
The main reason X-changers have gone to this extreme
measure is because
of the lack of comment coming from EvoCash.
X-Changers has had to deal
with much of the complaining from customers. Many
serious believe that
X-changers and EvoCash are associated. The only
association between these
two entities is business.
While EvoCash continues to hold the funds and makes
no announcement as
to when, where, or how the funds will be distributed,
X-Changers has had
to deal with having their personal reputation and
credibility destroyed
due to the silence of EvoCash is working on this
problem.
At the beginning of October, it was announced that
the Government of
Denmark had shut down CashChange from doing business.
With X-changers
stopping exchanges from EvoCash, it leaves EvoCash
with no main
exchanger. There are still many reputable exchangers
handling EvoCash.
The X-changers move to cease dealing with exchanging
EvoCash is considered
to be temporary. Once the funds held in FLO accounts
are distributed back
to where they belong, X-Changers will more than
likely return to a normal
business relationship.

*Golden Corp accused of Theft
Making THEIR life better with YOUR gold
The group that are running http://www.golden-corp.com
has been accused
of not completing the tasks promised by the
information posted on the
web site. The program has been reported due to
incomplete payouts on
the 9% non-compounded plan being offered.
The report shows that only 8 of 18 payments were
completed and that
makes for 72% of the total principle has been
returned. Many programs
tend to follow this angle by holding back a portion
of the funds as
profit for the Admin.
In many cases a program will hold back payments
because the program
has failed to bring in enough players and funds.
Since the program has
stopped paying, the Admin has posted a couple of high
priced investment
plans that seem to be simply there to steal more gold.
One of the new plans offers non-compounding while the
other includes
compounding. The non-compounding plan offers 12%
daily for 20 days,
with a minimum spend of $1,000.00 The second plan
that is compounding
also has a minimum spend of $1,000.00. Both are
offering the deposits
to be 100% secure. This of course is false information.
The so-called compounded long-term 60-day plan is
also one to not invest
in. The report includes the fact that some funds were
placed into this
compounded plan. The complaint goes on to state that
they are not
expecting any returns from this program.
The domain was created on the 13th of August 2004.
The domain
registration was made out to a Maury Simon who is
using email
address [info@golden-corp.com]. The mailing
information has this
person living in Arlington Texas. The domain is being
maintained
through ns1.xp-hosting.com.
*ID thieves target enterprises; more than 50
companies victims of scam
As an Internet surfer you have seen and read about
the methods used by
criminals to steal your identity. The criminals are
now assuming the
names of legitimate companies and creating web sites
for the purpose of
theft.
The web site is set up under the name of a reputable
company. The
scammers then apply for merchant accounts and set up
credit card
processing on the web site. Orders are then placed
through the fake
sites for the purpose of raking in a sizable profit.
The revenue is then sent to separate accounts so that
the money is not
as traceable. By the time the crime is spotted the
scammers have put
away a fair amount of money from the scheme.
Numerous companies have fallen for this scheme. One
company called
T-Data was given a bill for $15,000.00 in credit
fees. Along with
T-Data there are some 50 other firms that have been
victims of this
identity theft.
John Leyden from the Register wrote the following
article, which can be

ID thieves are going corporate. Assuming the identity
of consumers to
obtain loans and credit cards under assumed names has
become the US's
fastest growing crime. Now fraudsters are applying
similar tricks
against potential enterprise victims.
Here's how it works. Crooks set up web sites under
the names of
legitimate companies and apply for merchant status
with credit card
payment processing firms. Next they put orders
through these bogus
sites using credit cards, raking off a tidy
percentage in the process.
Crooks direct these illicit revenues to separate
accounts in the hope
they'll be able to draw out a sizable wedge by the
time their ruse
is rumbled. The trick is to obtain numerous merchant
accounts for each
bogus site.
