The issue below of this newsletter is one of the most important I have ever read from them. Also, much of the subject matter dovetails completely with what we have learned so far in the online Success Lessons based on Wallace Wattle's book, The Science of Getting Rich.

All of this "spiritual garbage," as some would term it, is at the heart and core of true and lasting success, and all of the good things we want in life. If we master the powers of our mind, and learn about its true interractions with the Universe at large, then we can, indeed, literally "do or be anything."

Now, we come to a very crucial time for the human race and for each of us individually. The long awaited Venus transit is now only hours away. Have you prepared your mind for what is coming? Are you ready for the radical shift in human consciousness and being that this event portends?

We are now at the threshold of a very momentous event. Some will feel an immediate effect. For others, it will take some time to "set in." But the message below tells us we must welcome the change, the shift, not fight against it as some will want to.

Those who attempt to fight against this inevitable great step for the human race are only leaving themselves behind, while the rest of us will now be empowered to do something useful in our lives.

Perhaps this is why the shills have attempted to distract us in the last few months with messages of gloom and doom. I know I have forwarded a lot of these messages myself, but the reason I did so was to stimulate thinking and feedback.

Looking forward now, I do not see reason to fear, as long as we progress along a path of advancement.

I heard a message a year or so ago that said we were all in a cosmic shift -- well, NOT ALL! Those who are service to other oriented are advancing at this time, while those who are service to self, i.e. SELFISH, are standing still, and maybe even regressing.

Right now, to use a Biblical analogy, the wheat and the tares are growing together in the field, because it would be almost impossible to separate them out. But Christ told us that there will come a time when the wheat is harvested and put into the barns, while the tares shall be gathered up and burned.

So maybe we are nearning a time of fulfillment of this parable. The wheat repreents those with a pure heart, and honest motivations, with outgoing love towards neighbor. The tares represent those who are selfish, and everything they do is in service to themselves.

We have all grown up together in this world, and at times it is hard to tell one from the other. But, the time will come for separation.

That message that I heard said that as we develope, there will actually be a subtle dimensional shift. Those responding to the higher energy will gradually shift from the third dimension into the fourth. Those who aren't developing spiritually, will stay behind in the third.

That message also said that at this time, there will be great threats and perils and earth upsets in the third dimmensional space we are in now, but that the fourth dimensional space we are entering, which has actually been here all along, but we just did not perceive it, will be filled with joy, peace, and abundance.

So in essence, those who are transforming are moving to a higher, peaceful plain, while those who do not advance will settle out, remaining in the third dimmensional space we are now in, which is transforming into a horrible place of destruction and catastrophe.

I don't know if that message was correct, or whether something else entirely is happening. But something surely is. However you slice it, those who are advancing have no reason to fear. Only those who live in fear, and refuse to advance for their own selfish or fearful reasons, will have something to fear.

That reminds me of another passage from the Bible that says the fearful, and those who are cowards cannot enter the Kingdom of God. Maybe this is part of the meaning.

We must have the courage to face the new reality now upon us, and to move forward in peace, love, harmony, and joy. For us, tomorrow will dawn bright and sunny, filled with aboundant happiness. We must hold onto that thought, and invite others who will to join with us in that bright new world.

The time to imagine and to do great things is now at hand. Let's leave behind the fear and doubt, and head into the joy and peace that is dawning upon us with the new day tomorrow. And remember, TOMORROW IS ONLY THE BEGINNING!

The real question of those reading these 3rd Night News letters is not how to survive the coming changes to our lives but how to Thrive through these changes.

For those of us who can conceive of our current society collapsing into a pile of rubble the situation we face is not so dire as those who cannot conceive of this happening. What can be perceived is able to be dealt with. Being blind sided by all that you have worked, hoped and wished for vaporizing within a few weeks time could be so traumatic that survival is not desired.

Currently on Earth, most people have been convinced that they are the effect of creation by religions and government. They are firm in their belief that their circumstances whether good or very poor are created by powers far above and beyond their own reach. In the evolution of consciousness we discuss at http://www.mayanmajix.com the above point of view is simple, it is scheduled for extinction.

As we have disclosed in historical record, a pattern of creation and destruction over the last 16.4 billion years, has fine tuned the Galaxies, our Sun, our Planet, our Physical Form and now, our current state of Consciousness.

Each time Light or Creation occurred, some part of consciousness was altered. Each time Darkness or Destruction occurred, some part of consciousness was altered.

Creation has manifested these things into physical in this order, Thought, Particles, Solids, Life and Life forms.

Through ourselves (us being one of those life forms) Creation has brought in, Purpose, Ability, Life, Thought, and Imagination.

It is through imagination that Creation through “Creativity” multiplies itself. This ability was bestowed on Homo Sapiens in the 5th Day of the Tribal cycle of the Mayan calendar - for more details see http://www.mayanmajix.com/lab_F1.html This ability was shown for the first time 45,000 years ago by the creation of art which at that time was shamanism, used as a tool to magically influence the future. During the 5th Night of that same cycle, some 32,000 years ago, Neanderthal went extinct for the lack of their ability to imagine a future. So they had none. A future is created only with imagination. As we have come forward in our development we went through a stage where we believe the world to be flat like a Frisby with nasty monsters waiting to devour hopeless sailors just off the edge. This turned out to be very false, look at the imagination that built that idea would you?

This is the evolution of consciousness on the march and it is only marching faster today. Instead of each “Day” or “Night” taking 7,900 years as in the Neanderthal’s time, each “Day” or “Night” has accelerated to happening in only 360 days. Now take a step back, look at that idea. We are talking about some kind of imagination just to be able to get that concept!

Some people can and some just cannot imagine this to be true.

I dare to say that most of you know at least a few people that would not be interested in these kinds of discussions.

Can you see the implications of the ability of imagination? Most of you were made afraid of your imagination while very young. This was done on purpose by religions, governments and financial institutions. Your parents, relatives, friends, teachers and personal bankers who worked so hard to stifle your imagination were just infected with the fear earlier than you were and should not be leaned on too heavily as the bad guys here. In general, imagination was taught as something unreal that will drag you away into deep dark scary places that could put an eye out or some such nasty experience. Day Dreaming would get you a stand in the hall, that’s what I experienced when I went to school. Imagination was explained as the province of artists, writers, actors, inventors and slick politicians or criminals. We were all warned about becoming involved with any of those occupations weren’t we?

Can you fathom where your imagination comes from? If you believe as we were taught in school that imagination comes from your mind then you are at a great disadvantage.

Imagination is a direct feed of possibilities from spirit to your mind. Just as your mind feeds the body thoughts of what the body should do, so your own spiritual self, feeds your mind what may become. You do not take all of the actions that the mind sends to the body do you? You have a great deal of control over which thoughts you take action on don’t you? If you don’t then you are probably reading this article in jail or in a mental institution for the lack of that control.

So, could you not also control which possibilities provided by your imagination you will focus on to bring into being? I say that you can. I say that anyone could and should begin to trust their imagination as a guide to the creation of their own future.

Another thing that greatly limits imagination in so many people are secrets. The more imagination you have the easier it is to imagine that you will be found out. This being most uncomfortable, lots of people turn off their imagination rather than come clean. Fear is such a powerful weapon.

What you imagine you are, and hold that vision, (persist) then that you are.

If you imagine yourself a victim of anything then you are. If you can imagine that no matter what the odds you will succeed then indeed you will.

We have the opportunity here, presented by creation packed with possibilities into each moment, to not just survive but to thrive, you only need imagine that you will and hold to that vision. Expect miracles, watch for miracles, be a miracle. This is our time.

This brings us to the subject of the Venus Transit June 8th, 2004. Much has been said about the possible effects of this transit. Most of the reports point to a massive increase in our ability to connect or communicate to each other coming with this transit. There is a whole lot of talk about the emerging of telepathic abilities as an extra human sense. It makes sense to me that our evolution as a race is not over but only speeding up. Our physical / mental processes are pretty well evolved by now and the mental / spiritual or mental consciousness aspect of ourselves, would be a logical next step in our evolution. Telepathy fits this bill to a “T”. Who will receive this ability to mentally / spiritually be in communication with others where distance is not a factor? Those, who imagine themselves able to do it. That’s who. Those who can not imagine or worse yet, would dread this kind of ability, will most likely not be included in this step of evolution.

This will cut the herd wont it? You bet your Bippy it will. Now don’t you go and worry that you’ve been left behind in the evolution if you don’t start getting telepathic calls from your “evolved” friends on the next day, June 9th. This is going to be a gradual thing like growing up and taking your first steps. Some walk at 9 months old, some at 18 months. Some kids talk at 10 months, some at 2 years, this is same kinda deal. Probably as this ability is developing, the first thing you will be able to notice about someone is; are they open to be telepathically communicated with or not. If not, there is a reason and you should walk the other way as quickly as is polite.

Yes, this will cut the herd quite nicely. The 3rd “Night”, when people are already receiving impulses to find others of like mind, will start taking on new ramifications and a jump in acceleration of this gathering will take place as well.

Actually, many of you have already been getting flashes of this ability especially with loved ones. Matty and I have been receiving your many good wishes as we travel on our current adventure we are calling the “Migration of Consciousness Tour.” We hope that you have telepathically gotten our heart felt thanks because our ability to communicate through email or telephone has sucked real badly recently. BUILDING AND MAINTAINING MARKETING MOMENTUM

Some people seem to steadily increase their income while
others just make enough to pay the bills. What's the
difference between the people who make millions and the
people who struggle all their lives to get ahead?

If you want to attract more clients in order to build a
more profitable business you need three things. You need
clear goals, knowledge of how to market your business
and a plan of action. Your marketing is like the
proverbial three-legged stool. To function effectively,
all three legs need to be solidly in place.

Without clear goals you won't move forward. Without
marketing knowledge you'll waste your time instead of
pulling in many more clients. Without a plan of action,
your marketing won't get done.

Setting Your Marketing Goals
Staying on track can be a struggle, whether you are trying
to stick to a diet or get your marketing in shape. How can
you get started and maintain your marketing momentum? What
you need to do is make a commitment to specific marketing goals.

Winners set both large and small goals, and they put
specific goals in writing. This last task may sound
superfluous but it can make a big difference to your
success.

One of my goals had been to write a book, a task that
seemed overwhelming. Of course, no one writes a book all
at once, they are written a page at a time. With a
short-term goal of writing three to five pages a week,
I made steady progress, wrote three books and have
outlines for two more.

Take a piece of paper or fire up your word processor and
make a list of goals for yourself and your business.
Include both long and short-term objectives. When you
write your objectives where applicable include who,
what and when.

The easiest way to get started is by beginning with your long-term objectives and then getting more specific. Ask yourself the following questions.

- What are your five-year goals for your business?
- What are your marketing goals?
(They could be skills, knowledge, new prospects or new
customers.)

Be as specific as possible when answering these questions
and defining your goals. For example, you might say, "I
want to have published eight training manuals, be earning
two thousand dollars a day and working less than 40 hours
a week in two years."

In addition to setting broad and long-term goals, you need
to set small and short-term goals. Define your annual,
monthly, weekly and daily goals. Once you've got them down
on paper, take a copy and thumb tack it over your desk.

- What's a one-month marketing goal you can accomplish?
- What's a one-week marketing goal you can accomplish?

Some days you'll feel like you're on a treadmill going
nowhere and your long-term goals continue to be out of
reach. When this happens, try two things. First look at the list of what you've accomplished in the last week, month and year. Second, with your larger goal in mind, circle the next finite and easily completed objective on your list and get going.

Every time you complete one of your objectives, no matter
how small, you're that much closer to reaching your
long-term business goals. If you're writing a book, each
page you write puts you that much closer to your goal.

- Could you improve your marketing by clarifying your
long and short-term marketing goals?

When you have clear goals and track your marketing accomplishments, it is easy to stay motivated. As you make progress, revise your goals and you'll continually improve your marketing and be more successful.

Here is some very good advice about money, and the attitudes towards it, from someone who knows from personal experience.

It is quite true though that you can't be attached
to doo-dads.

If you waste money on doo-dads and simply have no
self control
regarding money, you will never be a "steward
of money" - in fact you will never be
anything. If you find yourself in this
category you must break yourself of it ASAP...or
you'll never be or have anything. It will take
some years. Apart from anything else, never
trust with money (ie, "never trust")
someone who has no control over doo-dad
spending. They are on their learning path and
you can not give them money or have anything to do
with them in business.

Anyway, however, once you DO ACTUALLY HAVE the
ability to create
income streams, of course you can spend it if you
want to. Obviously you can only do three
things, (A) spend it on, welll anything, or (B)
simply save it up, or (C) invest it in creating
other income streams and businesses. so
those are the three options. However
eventually you will get to the point where you
don't NEED any money to create other businesses or
income streams (you will see it as naive that you
ever thought you needed money to create money), so
that eliminates #3. So again all you
can do is either just store it up, or, buy
whatever takes your fancy.

Many people who create businesses and products
successfully say they find their problem is
GETTING RID OF money, don't know what to do with
it. Many people just give up and buy lots of
real estate with the excess that you don't knwo
what to do with and can't seem to
spend.

You only need say, I think, oh, as little as 40 or
50 grand per annum passive income (ie after taxes
of course, in pocket) to live and eat and have a
fine reasonable life. I really don't see any
reason you NEED much more than that (inflation
adjusted forever of course) based on current
prices of housing, transport, food and doodads in
all
parts of the world.

(The exception is if you insist on living in the
central part of the worlds's expensive cities --
which can cost a fortune in rent, but is
completely poitnless; if your enterprises are set
up properly you shoudl be able to live most
anywhere.)

Once you have say, oh, 200 kpa, you can have
anything, anytime,
except the most expensive silly-money supercars,
and, private planes.

(I have no idea how much income you need to have to
be able to
support a private plane habit -- I imagine you are
talking $10 m a year)

Funnliy enough I have been working on a handy
"scale of wealth" for measuring these
things! :)

the moral of the story is definitely this:
"If you waste money on doo-dads and simply
have no self control regarding money, you will
never be a "steward of money" - in fact
you will never be anything. If you find yourself
in this category you must break yourself of it
ASAP...or you'll never be or have anything.
It will take some years."

Hello all,

This is a general announcement to all our lists and other lists we feel would be interested.

We have today revived our SuccessQuest list.

This is a low volume list that features 1-4 articles of interest on business, success, self improvement, and related topics.

This list does not discuss financial matters, which is reserved for our Invest_Rite group.

We will be copying the articles to Invest_Rite for a short time so that any members of that group who wish may also join that group, and we will be posting Invest_Rite messages to the SuccessQuest group as well, but this crossposting will only go on for 1-2 weeks, and then each group will return to its own topics.

What Future for the U.S. Dollar?
What You Should Know About the Imminent
Prospects for a Disorderly Decline in the Dollar

It is a well known fact that political / economic
disarray, whether it arrives in the form of acute
turmoil or in a somewhat lower grade but chronic
pattern of recklessness and imprudence (or perhaps
in a combination of both) can easily create the
kind of uncertainty that leads to a weakening, and
even a destabilization, of a nation's currency.
Fear and uncertainty are the real enemies of a
healthy currency. Once a fundamental weakening in a
currency takes hold, quick but prudent and wise
measures are required to reverse the trend. Failing
that, or even in the event that unwise and
short-sighted political and/or economic measures
are taken which further undermine confidence in
that currency, then at some point one may see
steady decline turn to a rapid and disorderly fall
as confidence begins to fail and those holding
significant reserve amounts in that currency rush
to minimize their losses. This is the nightmare
scenario for any currency.

When that currency happens to be the international
standard currency belonging to the U.S. superpower,
then the risks are magnified many times over. By
almost any measure, a fundamental weakening in the
dollar has already taken hold. Additionally,
short-sighted, imprudent and very unwise political
and economic measures have already been enacted
which threaten to turn the dollar's steady decline
into a disorderly plunge. How so?

Enormous and still-skyrocketing U.S. debt continues
to give the
international community in general, and the Asian
economies in particular, a serious case of
"nerves" about the stability of the U.S.
economy and its currency. The Asian central banks
have been buying enormous amounts of U.S. debt and
thus holding their reserves in dollars. Private
investors have already abandoned the practice of
buying U.S. debt (out of a very real fear of
getting stuck holding severely weakened dollars),
and that has placed the entire burden upon the
central banks. By all appearances, they are stuck
in a cycle of buying dollars, holding reserves in
dollars, to keep their own currencies from rising
against the dollar and hurting their export
position. However, the policy simply cannot
continue much longer because the strains caused by
such enormous imbalances are becoming terrific. At
some point, the Asian central banks will be forced
by an array of considerations and pressures to
alter their monetary policy and begin to cut back
on their purchases of U.S. debt. As the dollar
continues its decline, and this trend pleases the
Bush administration in an election year (due to
very short-term surface-deep benefits to the
economy), the value of the reserves held by the
Asian central banks continues to take a very
substantial hit. Domestic political pressure within
the Asian nations to sell a significant amount of
dollars before their value declines much further
and invest in domestic assets is becoming very
great. The central banks are also becoming very
nervous about the identical fear which caused the
private investors to stop buying U.S. debt - what
if they get stuck with a huge mountain of very weak
dollars?

Against this background, this month both Japan and
India sent credible indications they are seriously
considering such changes in their monetary
policies, according to reports in Bloomberg, The
Business Times and others. They are acting very
carefully, taking small steps, as one can
reasonably understand they must. But acting they
are, demonstrating they at least must begin to
develop some kind of viable exit strategy from the
dollar. An exit strategy might even be further
along, at least in the planning stages, than most
persons might imagine. Political, diplomatic and
even geopolitical considerations, in addition to
economic ones, are also adding their tremendous
pressures to move the Asian and other economies
toward an exit strategy from the dollar. Around the
world there is a growing sense that a course of
increased independence from the U.S. is the wise
course. We see matters moving in that direction,
rather than toward the U.S., on economic and
diplomatic levels. The Iraq situation has helped to
give significant impetus to such trends. And the
actions and policies of the Bush
Administration have tended to erase whatever
loyalty and sympathy might have previously existed
on the part of the Asians and others. Now, these
players will tend to act purely in their own
interests, without consideration for the American
administration or American interests, unless their
interests happen to coincide.

For example, with respect to India, the
administration recently displayed yet again that it
evidently possesses little or no sensitivity to
legitimate Indian interests. On March 23 the U.S.
completely blind-sided its so-called strategic
partner India by granting Pakistan MNNA status,
removing sanctions and paving the way for the sale
of weapons to Pakistan. The Indians were deeply
offended and angered, understandably so. The
surprise announcement, which did not even consider
legitimate Indian interests, came in the thick of
the Indian political campaign and threatened to
humiliate candidates seen to have a pro-U.S.
stance. India is one nation that has been massively
financing U.S. debt by buying dollars. On March 27,
in an editorial by Sultan Shahin in The Asia Times
Online, the almost immediate repercussions of such
insensitive U.S. policy were outlined - and they
are very serious and could be immensely damaging to
the already shaky stability of the U.S. dollar.
India is easing up on the buying of dollars - just
days after the U.S. snubbed India and granted MNNA
status to Pakistan, as noted above. Is there a
connection between the two events? Very possibly.

The Bush Administration has made an undeniable
track record for itself of such insensitivity
around the world. As such, it risks losing the
extremely valuable economic, diplomatic and
geopolitical cooperation of key players which it
desperately needs. It seems almost oblivious to
those
repercussions, however, evidently assuming the
stability of the dollar is never really in doubt.
But as more global players increasingly pursue
their own interests, in a growing independence from
Washington, the resulting repercussions against the
dollar will begin to multiply. There simply isn't
any way to reverse the negative trends and forces
moving against the dollar, short of a profound
philosophical change on economic and diplomatic
levels in Washington - and that seems very
unlikely. Even a new administration this fall would
be saddled with the enormous weight of America's
crushing debt and international isolation and the
unprecedented level of ill-will directed at the
last superpower - so what could it really do to
turn things around for the dollar?

As detailed in numerous insightful editorials at
GoldMoney.com (see The Dollar versus the Euro by
Alex Wallenwein, for example), the U.S. is on the
wrong side of gold. The euro is on the right side
of gold, however. Increasingly, private and state
investors are moving toward real money (like gold)
and currencies firmly anchored to real money. The
U.S. dollar has very little, if anything, to
recommend it in view of the complete picture of
geopolitical and geo economic trends and
developments. So do not be surprised to see the EU,
Russia, India, OPEC and Asia increase and deepen
their mutual cooperation in finding a viable exit
strategy from the dollar, perhaps much sooner than
most people would expect. They will likely find
that there is strength, stability and comfort in
numbers, as the global economic order undergoes
unprecedented tectonic plate shifts, progressively
reordering itself away from a unipolar order and
toward a multipolar one. In the midst of such
massive reordering, it is the stability of real
money and currencies firmly anchored to real money
that will carry the day.

Wag the World

You are being seduced, people. We are all being actively seduced.

Much like in a play or a movie, you’re being seduced into paying attention to what is on the screen and nothing else. What was going on with the cameramen, director and producers, you never considered. Your curiosity had you by the frontal lobes.

You were seduced.

In the world of entertainment, that’s fine. But what is going on now concerns our very lives.

I am fairly certain that you are familiar with the term “Wag the Dog.” What is going on right now, right in our faces is, “Wag the World.”

Take the upcoming election, for example. The polls (conducted and paid for by who knows?) say that this race is neck-and-neck. Too close to call, a cliffhanger. This is seductive, isn’t it? Who will win? Will it be Skull-and-Bones Bush or Skull-and-Bones Kerry? With all voting machines owned by Republicans, and no paper trail, I guess it is pretty much a toss-up who comes out on top. So why do the drama?

The only reason is to deeply involve the public in a partisan conflict, the outcome of which is no more meaningful than an NFL, NBA, NHL game or NASCAR race. You understand that all those leagues are businesses, dedicated to enlisting your emotional allegiance so you will pay attention—and dollars $—to see how it turns out. Right?

And what difference does that outcome produce? Unless you bet the farm on the game or on the season, not all that much, huh? Sure was exciting though, wasn’t it?

A close game or a close race makes people pay attention—gets us really involved. Get out there and vote, people! Be proud to participate in this great democracy, where “Every Vote Counts!” (As long as you vote for those who WE, the Powers that BE, have appointed as our stooges.) I wonder why the New England Patriots have been in every Super Bowl since September 11, 2001? How do you hide a
conspiracy? Make it so big that no one can imagine it. Does 9/11ring a bell?

What good is having all the POWER if you don’t use it? And if you already have all the money and the natural resources of the planet, what would you be hungry for?

Yes, “They,” the Powers that Be—the international corporations, the insurance companies, the banks—own everything, including the air that you are breathing. So what do “They” want? “They” want the only stuff that you have ever really had, your Time and Attention. All your possessions (including your body), and your various relationships, you have only for a Time, and then only as long as you are paying Attention to them. Your total Time and Attention is what “They” want, and “They” are doing a bang-up job of getting what “They” want, aren’t they?

What is going on here is a plot divide the people to the maximum degree, by small degrees at a time, as in a seduction. You know that if you move too fast in a seduction it will have to be aborted or it becomes a rape. Now rape is usually resisted—throughout history many leaders were caught, taken out and murdered for the rape of the people and the national treasuries. In this case, the treasuries are already secured, so the reach is for the absolute enslavement of your Time and Attention, your emotions and your passion. Really stinkin’ sneaky isn’t it?

Circa 1755, Power Consciousness slowly began to carry out its domination plan. Ever since, stage by stage, more and more issues have been trotted out to shock the public—to cause them to rise in outrage—to confuse and divide the public while unifying power.

Divide and conquer, for total victory. All of this is being done very methodically. Each step is calculated—the public must be able to understand the reasoning behind it. If “They” were to do too radical a departure from the norm, the seduction would be over and the public would revolt too soon, so they have to build this slowly. They have to raise your emotions and passions by degree, either for or against something. When you care enough, when your anger and fear have been evoked strongly enough, when your passions have been whipped into a frenzy, when you are willing to kill for your beliefs, They (Republican and/or Democrat corporate media puppets) will have finished their job and can kick back and enjoy the fruits of ruling a slave population on Planet Earth. What a Party! Can you imagine all the Power!?? They can.

I have an admission to make. For the last fifteen years or so, I have been a news addict. I have watched, read and listened to all of the shit that has rolled downhill, and have acquired some big ass calluses. (Believe me, you need ’em to sit through it all.)

I understand why you wouldn’t want to—but somebody had to do it. And what I have discovered is a definite pattern—designed to slowly turn up the outrage factor. Like a toad in a warm bucket of water, we are sitting here as the heat rises to boiling, and all the toadies get cooked.

Those of you who are reading this—and have read the earlier “Third Night News” articles—have a very special advantage. We know how all of this eventually turns out. Ethics over Power as the Galactic Cycle continues its evolutionary sweep and a smoother ride for those aligned with spirit from the Fourth “Day” (2005) onward.

What this means is that we do not have to become seduced by the drama. Have your ever watched a movie four or five times? What happened to the dramatic effect? It went limp, didn’t it? But you did get to see a lot more of went into the movie as you watched it over and over, didn’t you? Camera angles, lighting, costume details and so on. This is because you knew how it turned out.

So now, with the Mayan calendar cycles, we can see when and how this is all going to turn out, and the big production drama being put on for us has very little effect. In fact, the performance looks sort of clownish, and, frankly, there are some very poor actors in bit parts out there.

The 2004 election is going to make WWWF look like the Amateur Hour. It will end up being actual physical bloody politics towards the end. Along the way, the general public will be leaked progressively inflammatory information (by various whistle blowers) up to and including that George Bush and Cheney did do 9/11, as a last-ditch campaign ploy to get out the votes to beat Bush. It makes sense that if they were really desperate, they would do that, right? That’s very important, because this all has to be done in degrees. It has to feel natural—not too sudden or the seduction is ruined. They are working on it right now, inflaming every cultural, economic, religious and ethnic conflict that they can!

They are busy turning the heat up and the lights off!

All of this is actually being done, by the way, by The Galactic Consciousness Cycle that is really running this show—on a very particular schedule. (The Galactic Cycle is all about discernment, individuation and dissection for full disclosure and ultimate truth.)

The schedule of the Evolution of Consciousness is a repeating cycle that ascends in a spiral path described by the Mayan calendar. What we know about what will probably occur in our near future is from the past, from historical records of what Consciousness has gone through during the same Creative/Destructive energies in previous cycles.

We also know that the best two men for the job of Pres and Vice Pres are the only two Democrats who got totally ignored so far. (If you don’t know who they are, the media blackout worked on you.) So we have Skull-and-Bones Kerry as the corporate-appointed Democrat nominee—and these two “other guys” who are running on the Consciousness/Light and Laughter platform. This platform is to be the dominating Consciousness of 2005, or the Fourth “Day” of the Mayan calendar.

How does someone get picked to be a presidential candidate? Who would the power elite trust with the hundreds of trillions of dollars that they control World Wide? Not just anybody, that’s for sure. And not anyone who stands up for the citizens—they might spend some of that money on the people! Oh God No! Not that! So what is the process?

The following data comes from many sources on the Internet and various “conspiracy” books--fairly impossible to track all the way down to source--but the sheer number of similar reports from wide-spread sources seems to indicate there must be some truth to what I am about to reveal.

We know how cruel people can be to one another in public. What about not just in private, but in secret? Who loves secrets? The Powerful that's who. The deeper and darker the secret, the more powerful the secret.

It starts in school, some law school or Ivy League college—some special, club-type institution.

It starts with an invitation to join a club or secret society—offered because of your lineage, because of your connections and your desire to become powerful. Favors are offered as a reward for joining these clubs and societies. To begin with, the favors involve grades, drugs, alcohol and sex. Membership begins with a ceremony, or initiation, that binds the person to secrecy.

How do you do that for sure?

By photographing the new “Member” involved in sexual acts—photographs that would instantly ruin their lives if they were ever made public.

Now you’re not ever going to tell anything about the workings of the group. Later, when a “Member” is approached by the club for a “favor,” that member had better perform or he or she will not progress up the power ladder. These favors start small and are only slightly illegal—or perhaps “only” immoral—and the person is rewarded with lavish gifts of sex, money, connections and prestige. The next favors are more involved, designed to test the “Member’s” resourcefulness and the strength of his or her desire to gain money, power, and sexual rewards. Rewards for these favors lead to the witnessing of taboo ceremonies involving sex and torture, regular orgies having lost their kick by now for the up-and-coming “Member.” Once a “Member” desires public office or a “ready made” business success, attendance at these rituals becomes mandatory. (All on film of course.) Once in office or at the head of the corporation, the “Member” will be expected to personally perform the ritual
torture and/or killing of the victim(s). After the “Member” has demonstrated his or her willingness to personally torture and murder on command, he or she makes the not-so-short list of potential leaders. This is not to say that all CEOs or politicians or police are involved. Those aforementioned are the ”Members” who have directly received “Favors.” These are people who have advanced themselves at the suffering of others. Lots of “Members” out there or you wouldn’t be hurting like you are.

How would you make sure that someone was willing to kill tens of thousands or millions of people for the sole benefit of your powerful friends? Through duly witnessed and photographed demonstrations of their total lack of regard for human suffering and loss of life. Now, the “Member” has become a suitable nominee for president or prime minister of whatever country they happen to be lurking in. Don’t think so? Can’t happen here?

Where do one hundred and fifty thousand kids disappear to each year in this country alone?

And you thought it was only pretty little white girls advertised on TV that go missing?

Check out what is happening in the Belgium courts right now over pedophile sex ring charges and the number of suicides among government leaders and policemen all across Europe.

Have you heard of the Amber Alert Bill? Do you know how and why and what that bill is? Do you know why it was rushed through, with rider bills attached?

Now there is a system that alerts everyone on the road of any vehicle’s make, color and license plate number in which a stolen kid may be riding. No matter why the police want this car and driver, everyone thinks it’s a kidnapping. Welcome to the US Public Police Force—you have been deputized.

Night clubs in your area shutting down? As a rider to the Amber Alert Bill, any club owner or venue renter is guilty of the possession of all controlled substances found in the possession of patrons at their club or venue. This will stop people from gathering anywhere other than Christian revival meetings, football games, stockcar races or other corporate-endorsed events. No drug checks there, huh?

So, how’s it going to go from how bad it is now to how it should be in 2005?

VERY QUICKLY is tanswer to that question. Very quickly indeed.

During each fourth “Day” the newest consciousness, in this case ETHICS, overcomes the previous consciousness, POWER, and new foundations are laid for the new consciousness to develop along its evolutionary path toward the next evolutionary jump.

The next jump is the consciousness of Conscious Co-Creation.

As you are already seeing in your lives today, there are more and more synchronicities, and random telepathic experiences happening. We are stepping into our roles of being creators right now. And, in fact, creating your own survival during the coming changes will be only way to survive. This is an evolution, after all. Evolution is a fabulously effective tool. Look how far we’ve come from cellular ooze in just 820 million years.

But Evolution has no mercy. This does not have to be tough on a Creator, just on victims.

Got it?

The storm will rise. The storm will rage and the storm will pass, leaving a cleaner environment for renewed growth. We know how it ends, with light and love prevailing.

Is your financial data really safe?

The threat is remote but real. With a world of
hackers, hijackers and spoofers out there waiting
to steal your stuff, a little caution is in order
-- online and off.

When you're paying bills, making investments,
viewing your bank
balance, checking your credit card statements,
preparing your taxes and buying stuff online, are
you taking a big risk?

The answer, unfortunately, is that no one really
knows.

The reality is that you're vulnerable to identity
theft even if you don't own a computer. Some of the
biggest hacking and identity theft cases have
targeted business or government databases over
which individuals have little control:

* Thieves posing as Ford Motor Credit Co. personnel
accessed a
credit bureau database and stole credit reports of
more than 30,000 consumers. The U.S. Attorney's
Office in New York said its investigation uncovered
more than $2.7 million in financial losses.

* A hacker broke into the California state
controller's computer
system and gained access to the names and Social
Security numbers of 265,000 state employees --
including the governor and all 120 state
legislators.

* A clerk of New York state's Insurance Fund was
arrested for
using personal financial information from
applications and other paper documents to set up
credit accounts and purchase more than $100,000
worth of goods, including $70,000 in computers.

* In February, a hacker accessed 8 million credit
card numbers by
breaking into the database of a company that
processes transactions for Visa, MasterCard,
American Express and Discover. The credit card
companies said there was no evidence the numbers
had been used for fraudulent purchases.

Certain online transactions may increase the
chances that you'll be a victim. As several recent
incidents have shown, letting a Web site store your
credit card number could put you at risk. Hackers
have stolen credit card numbers from online
databases, including one at Amazon.com subsidiary
Bibliofind.com. Incredibly, many companies still
don't encrypt these databases, said attorney and
computer fraud expert Nick Akerman, making them
relatively easy targets for thieves.

Theoretically, just establishing a user ID and a
password for a
financial account could make you more vulnerable,
because a hacker could conceivably break into your
computer, plant a keystroke-tracking program,
retrieve the data and use it to access your
account. But most hackers wouldn't bother with all
that work for one account, security experts said.

The reality is that it's pretty tough to quantify
your risk of losing valuable personal information
to a computer hacker, and even less possible to
determine how vulnerable you are to a financial
loss because of that crime. Why?

* Most companies keep hacking incidents under
wraps. Only 30% of
companies surveyed by the FBI and the Computer
Security Institute said they reported such
incursions to law enforcement. (Although that could
soon change, thanks to a new California law; more
below.) Some companies have such lax security,
Akerman said, that they don't even know when
they've been hacked or what information, if any,
has been stolen.

* Identity-theft complaints are rising, but the
source of the
theft is usually unknown. Of the 161,000
identity-theft complaints reported to the Federal
Trade Commission last year, 80% of the victims had
no idea how their information was stolen. Most of
the rest "could only guess" at how they were
compromised, said FTC spokeswoman Claudia Bourne
Farrell.

* Offline threats still seem to outnumber online
threats.

Sixty-eight percent of the law enforcement
officials interviewed by the California Public
Interest Research Group identified theft of snail
mail as the leading threat. Thieves use purloined
account statements, convenience checks,
pre-approved credit card offers and even bills to
take over existing accounts or establish new ones.
Other offline threats include dumpster diving,
stolen wallets and unscrupulous employees of banks
and other lenders.

Just handing your credit or debit card to a waiter
at a restaurant, says security expert Pradeep K.
Khosla, is a transaction fraught with danger.

The waiter could run multiple transactions, or
glean enough
information from the card's magnetic strip --
thanks to a pocket-sized device called a skimmer --
to create a duplicate card.

"Somehow we don't worry about that risk," said
Khosla, director of Carnegie Mellon University's
Center for Computer and Communications Security.
"We're kind of used to it."

Spoofing is no joke

Khosla, who also heads the university's electrical
and computer
engineering department, knows well the dangers that
may lurk online. He's particularly spooked by
"spoofing" -- a hacking technique that redirects
customers of a financial or shopping Web site to a
look-alike, so thieves can glean IDs and passwords
or credit card numbers. If well done, there's
little to tip off an unsuspecting user.

The real Web sites usually detect and swiftly shut
down these
incursions, "but in the 30 seconds or two minutes
that can take," Khosla said, "something bad can
happen."

Yet the dangers don't keep Khosla from banking,
shopping, investing and paying bills on the
Internet. The risks he perceives don't outweigh the
convenience.

"I do everything (online)," he said.

So do I -- and have for years. I pay bills,
rebalance my investment portfolio and shop for
clothes and books. Every day, I download our bank,
investment and credit card transactions into my
personal finance software -- an exercise that
simultaneously helps me stay in control of my
finances and allows me to spot any problems
immediately. So far, so good: the only unauthorized
transactions have turned out to be of the "oh,
sweetheart, I forgot to tell you" variety.

Don't ignore the risks

There's nothing like a long history of good
experiences to make you comfortable transacting
business on the Web. But understanding where the
biggest risks lie might help you decide how much of
your financial life you want to conduct online.

Computer security experts say the databases at
either end of the
Internet transaction -- the one at the financial
institution and the one in your computer -- are
usually the most vulnerable. The information that
flies between these databases is typically
encrypted (you can tell by the little yellow
padlock in the lower right hand side of your
browser) and difficult to hack.

One expert likens an Internet financial transaction
to driving an
armored car between two cardboard boxes -- the car
could be targeted, but it 's far more likely
hackers will go after the more vulnerable boxes.

Where are you stored?

That's why many security experts who use credit
cards to buy stuff on the Web are nervous about
storing their credit card numbers on the same site.
It's also why you may be fine e-filing your taxes,
but reluctant to actually prepare them online if
they're stored at a Web site.

Of course, you can't always tell when a Web site is
hanging on to the information you give it. Many
reputable sites offer to "remember" your card
number for you, but others may simple snatch and
keep the information without consulting you, said
online financial services analyst Chris Musto, of
research firm Gomez Advisors. That's why it's
important to deal with reputable sites and to
review privacy policies.

We may soon get a better idea of the risks we're
actually taking,
thanks to a California law that takes effect July
1. The law requires companies to alert their
California customers if hackers or employees steal
information that could be used for identity theft.

(The bill was undoubtedly helped by the fact that
the lawmakers had just gotten a dose of what it
feels like to have their information stolen, thanks
to the hacking incident noted above. "It made the
issue real and immediate for the 120 lawmakers who
were obliged to vote on the issue," is the way
sponsoring Assemblyman Joe Simitian, D-Palo Alto,
put it.)

Law could force action

Because companies are required to comply regardless
of where they're headquartered, computer security
experts believe the California law will lead to a
nationwide increase in firms reporting hacking
incidents. They also hope it will inspire companies
to take additional security measures to avoid the
hassle and publicity of such disclosures.

"It's forcing companies to take the medicine that
they should have been taking a long time ago," said
Akerman.

Consumers should be taking that medicine as well.
Firewalls,
anti-virus software and the simple act of changing
passwords once in a while can help reduce your
vulnerability. Also:

* Hunt for spyware. This nasty software tracks
where you go and
what you do and reports it back -- sometimes to
companies that sell the information to marketers,
sometimes to crooks. Wall Street Journal columnist
Jeremy Wagstaff recommends Ad-aware from Lavasoft
or Spybot Search and Destroy. (See links at left
under Related Sites.)

* Be careful with wi-fi. Wireless Internet is hot,
it's cool --
and it's about as secure as a cell phone
conversation. If you're worried about security,
don't conduct your financial transactions online
while at your corner Starbucks.

Too late to double check

Area man warns others to be on guard after check
paid out twice
Check bank statements promptly, police advise

OCONOMOWOC - Writing a check was
something Robert Spoerl never
thought twice about.
But now that one of his checks has been
paid out twice, he is. "There's a lot
of people that never check their bank
statements," said Spoerl, who lives in the town of
Ixonia. "All of sudden they're way out of whack
with their (checkbook). Then they'll reconcile with
what the bank said because if the bank said it, it
must be true. But the bank's records on it aren't
the Bible, are they?"
On Nov. 23, Spoerl filled up his sport
utility vehicle with
gasoline at Citgo Mart, 744 E. Wisconsin Ave. His
wife, Jeanie, went inside the station to pay.
Spoerl said his wife wrote the check
and the owner, Gurdip S.
Dhillon, scanned the check using a Global Telecom
Inc. device. After scanning the check, Spoerl said
Dhillon put the check into the cash register.
Dhillon said he only puts a check into
the cash register when it
cannot be read by the scanner. If the check scans
properly, Dhillon said he stamps it with the words
"ACH Processed" and returns the check to the person
who writes it.
Dhillon said Spoerl's check failed to
scan properly and that is
why he placed it in the register. He said he did
not deposit the check twice and an official at his
bank, Bank One, confirmed that.
They claimed the error took place with
Spoerl's bank - not
Dhillon's.
"It's a bank error, (something that)
would happen on your bank's
part," Judy Guenther, of Bank One in Oconomowoc,
told Spoerl on Monday.
Where did payment go?
After writing the check, the Spoerls
were on vacation for nearly
two months and unaware of any problem. It was not
until they returned that Spoerl noticed the double
billing.
Spoerl said he was told by two people
at his bank, Associated
Bank, he must report any discrepancies in his bank
statement within 60 days of receiving it - but that
time frame had expired before he returned and had a
chance to look at the statement.
So, he went higher up the ladder at the
bank and was later told
his money would be returned.
"But that isn't the point," Spoerl
said. "The point is that this
can happen, and I don't know if the general public
knows about it. I sure as heck didn't know about
it."
An Associated Bank official declined to
talk about the issue,
stating he was protecting the privacy of Spoerl's
account.
Still not knowing who received the
second payment, Spoerl
contacted the Oconomowoc Police Department last
week.
Lt. Jeff Schmidt said Spoerl's
complaint is an isolated issue
and the department has not received other
complaints from Citgo Mart customers.
At this point, Schmidt said he doubts
any intentional fraud on
Dhillon's part.
"On its face, it doesn't appear to be a
criminal violation,"
Schmidt said.
Schmidt said bank security officers the
police department works
with are very concerned about issues such as
Spoerl's.
"People do need to be reviewing their
accounts and checking with
their banks when they suspect any suspicious
activity," he said. "The first place people need to
go ... (is) their bank. It's not something they
should wait two weeks and then go do it."

Waiting for answers

Spoerl, president of a town of Ixonia
trucking company, admitted
that he was not worried about losing the $24.45.
It's the fact that any check could be cashed twice
that has him concerned.
"What if this was not a $24.45 check?"
he asked. "What if it was
a $200 check? Could they have done this twice?"
Spoerl said he is concerned the double
billing was not caught at
his bank.
"I really think the problem is in the
bank and the banking
system," he added. "The bank shouldn't let that
opportunity happen, is the way I feel."
By Monday afternoon, Spoerl said he was
left playing the waiting
game.
"If the police department tells me that
there's fraud involved,
or theft of any sort, and asks me, 'Will I pursue
it?' Definitely, if the situation warrants it," he
said.
According to Schmidt, it is unlikely
that will happen. He said
department policy would be to only pursue the case
if it is contacted by Associated Bank.

While technological advances have helped financial
institutions better protect your account
information, technology has also helped criminals
in their attempts to get your money. Here are some
tips to help keep what is yours.

* Reconcile your bank statement within 30 days of
receipt
to detect any irregularities.

* Unless needed for tax purpose, destroy old
canceled
checks, account statements, deposit tickets and ATM
receipts.

* Limit the amount of personal information on your
check.
For example, do not include your Social Security,
driver's license or telephone numbers on your
check. A criminal can use this information to
literally steal your identity by applying for a
credit card or loan in your name, or even open a
new checking account.

* Don't leave blank spaces on the payee and amount
lines.

* Use dark ink that can't be easily erased or
covered
over.

* Don't write your credit card number on the check.

* Don't make a check payable to cash. If lost or
stolen,
the check can be cashed by anyone.

* Store your checks, deposit slips, bank statements
and
canceled checks in a secure and locked location.
Never leave your checkbook in your vehicle or in
the open.

Secrets Of The Richest People

Would you like to realize your goals? Maybe you'd like to run your own business, expand your material possessions, or succeed in the arts. There is no one path to the pot of gold, but many people of all backgrounds have successfully found it.

Whether you want to follow the ways of the great financiers, the famous politicians, or the dynamic movie stars, there are common modes of behavior each of them followed. And in many cases, they have shared their secrets so YOU CAN FOLLOW THEIR FOOTSTEPS.

"If you wish to know the road up the mountain, ask the person who goes back and forth on it," said the ancient sage, Zenrin. What better way is there to know the secrets than to ask those who made it?

What goals do you want to achieve? And what amount of effort can you commit? You may want money for the extra things in life, money to build a corporate empire, or money to support yourself while you pursue the fine arts.

Perhaps you'd like to take the risk to start something new in your life. You may want to open your own business, devote your energies to an artistic career such as acting, or reap the benefits of your yearly endeavors with fabulous vacations several times a year.

What will bring you happiness? The satisfaction of success takes many forms. Not only are people seeking financial fortunes, but also the ancient goal of peace of mind.

Do you worry? You might be concerned about your health or your family's well-being. You may be anxious about the added expenses of education, medical bills, or the steady increase of cost of living. There are ways out of the endless cycles of worry, stress and anxiety. Right now, you can rise above the whirl of survival to achieve the accomplishments you dream of. When you're ready to put your whole effort into realizing your goals, YOU WILL SUCCEED.

What Are Riches

"Had I but plenty of money, money enough to spare," wrote Robert Browning. And money is the greatest attribute of riches. A universal desire, money is the materialization of riches, the stuff that makes the rest possible.

Are you looking for financial security? For retirement, for education or leisure? Riches are the overflowing abundance of material possessions - houses, cars, boats, furnishings - everything you ever wanted.

Centuries ago, Horace wrote, "By right means, if you can, but by any means, make money." For many people it is a path towards happiness, a cure-all for worry and peace of mind.

For others, riches come in the form of satisfaction and personal independence. Satisfaction comes from accomplishment in employment or attaining goals. It is that feeling of contentment and confidence from a good task well done. Riches are closely linked with success. And with that comes fame and acknowledgment of position. Success might be the feeling of well-being from the rewards of good effort. Or the enthusiasm and vitality triggered by recognition.

"Success is how well I enjoy the minutes," said producer Norman Lear.

Throughout history, the people who lived with riches often achieved them by hard work, diligence and a belief in themselves. For some people, it took courage, genius and stamina.

But for many others, it took nothing special but the desire to turn dreams into reality. Whether you want millions of dollars, recognition as an artist, or personal freedom, you have the ability to make your life as rich as you want.

Think about what you most desire. It may not be hard cash, but what it can buy. Or it may be those feelings of inner satisfaction, from creating something beautiful or strong.

You may want personal independence from the work week, or freedom to live anywhere you want. You may be looking for something meaningful and significant in life - something other than things money can buy. Whatever your goals, and however difficult they seem to be to accomplish, you have the ability to become who you want. Take a look - can you see yourself surrounded by riches?

Picture the world open and in front of you, ready to become the form of your dreams, ready to stage your desires. "Why then, the world's mine oyster," wrote Shakespeare, "which I with sword will open."

Who Is Successful?

Many people who achieve fortune in the world are not born rich. But they accomplish their dee hard to implement as it will bring in lots of ordersires through hard work and a plan of action.

Every type of person on earth can become successful. There are saints and scoundrels; philanthropists and thieves; poets and politicians; young and old. There are no limitations or physical boundaries for success.

Success comes to those who think about success and strive for it. Although many rich financiers at the turn of the century had no formal education, they overcame that and went on to great fame.

Some people strive towards a single goal from early in life, and often attain that goal while still young. Others are willing to risk new adventures later and still attain success.

"It's never too late to learn," wrote Malcolm Forbes, the money magnate. "I learned to ride a motorcycle at 50 and fly balloons at 52."

Whatever your task, whatever your obstacles, you can be as successful as anyone else. Study the people who accomplished recognition in the areas of your pursuit. How did they achieve their goals?

And don't be afraid you don't have what it takes. As Daniel Webster wrote, "There is always room at the top."

Forming Conviction

The single attribute that every successful person has is the one-pointed devotion to attain a goal. "There in the sunshine are my highest aspirations," wrote Louisa May Alcott, "I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead."

What are your desires? How can you form them into definite goals that you can attain? Lawrence Peter wrote, "If you don't know where you're going, you'll probably end up somewhere else."

Maybe you're studying a craft or skill. Perhaps you're caught in a rung of the corporate ladder. Or, you might feel constricted by your family and the environment around you.

Which star are you reaching for? "Ours is a world where people don't know what they want and are willing to go through anything to get it," wrote Don Marquis.

Take the time to think about your own aspirations. Look inside to find what feels right. Almost everyone entertains the notions of fame and fortune, but put on the costume that fits you.

Conviction requires certain qualities of action. You must be sincere and be willing to assume responsibility. And you need the self-discipline necessary to work towards your goals.

Are you prepared to achieve your dreams? Can you form their reality in your mind? Will you devote your entire being to attaining what you want?

On Your Own

Most millionaires are non-conformists. So are the most famous actors and actresses; and the most prominent artists. Writers are known for their individual traits and eccentricities.

Your convictions and goals are your own business, even when you find help along the path. Mentors often take people under their wings to nourish and teach. Or spiritual guides will show you the path to attainment. But you're on your own to achieve.

Cultivate a sense of justice and an ability to make decisions. Cooperate with everybody and develop your own self-respect. And follow good criticism and advice after you've judged carefully. J. Paul Getty said, "I advise young millionaires to be skeptical of advice. They should advise themselves; they should form their own opinions."

Lord Byron wrote, "There is rapture on the lonely shore." And if you attain your goals with poise and sincerity, you'll find warmth and love at the top - not the cold loneliness pictured by the jealous.

Put on blinders to negative comments and criticism meant to hurt you. About the people who criticize, Voltaire wrote, "Never having been able to succeed in the world, they took revenge by speaking ill of it."

Seize The Day

People are judged by what they think and what they say. But the true measure of their character is what they do. Anyone who has achieved success and fortune in the world has done it by action.

William Jennings Bryan wrote, "Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved."

The choice of the path you follow is often put before you as opportunity. "Few people recognize opportunity," said Cary Grant, "because it comes disguised as hard work."

Don't let opportunities slip past while you're still considering them, and create new ones as you see them. "Wise people make more opportunities than they find," said Francis Bacon.

What opportunities can you act upon? Woolworth saw a need for small inexpensive items and opened the chain of stores that grossed billions. Wrigley started giving gum away as a bonus from a supplies wagon he sold from, and saw the opportunity to make money from the gum that became in high demand.

All successful people the world over have found the opportunities for their own special talents and acted upon those ways to achieve. Why wait for the time to pass? There's never a better time than now.

"Sometimes," wrote Lewis Carroll believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Take your own impossible dreams and make them become reality.

How They Think

Thousands of potential millionaires are born every year. And making a million dollars is coming closer to everyone's pocket. What advice did the money-makers follow?

Aristotle Onassis worked eighteen hours a day to maintain his fortune. He started as a welder and aimed for the top. "You have to think money day and night," he said, "you should even dream about it in your sleep."

John D. Rockefeller, Jr., said, "I believe in the dignity of labor, whether with head or hand; that the world owes every person an opportunity to make a living."

And J. Paul Getty acknowledged his hard work: "I have no complex about wealth. I have worked hard for my money, producing things people need."

Even Proverbs advises: "In all labor there is profit."

Richard Bach, the author of the best selling "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" wrote, "You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it true. You may have to work for it, however."

The Empress of the British Empire, Queen Victoria, admonished, "We are not interested in the possibilities of defeat."

Do You Have What It Takes?

There are qualities of endeavor and achievement that are common to many people who make it to the top. The following questions are a guideline to self-enterprise and attaining your goals.

Do you prefer to work for yourself than for others?

Are you well-informed on current business and political affairs?

Are you a leader?

Do you take advantage of opportunities?

Do you pay attention to what other people say?

Can you finish a job even when it is difficult or unpleasant?

Are you challenged by problems?

Do you have a goal you want to achieve?

Do you consider other people?

Do you strive to attain?

Can you obey commands?

Can you bounce back after defeat?

Do you believe in yourself?

Can you stand by your actions in spite of criticism?

Can you follow instructions?

Can you respond to the needs of others?

Will you give credit to other

Can you make your own decisions?

Are you determined?

Are you ready for success?

Establish A Goal

What do you want? Are you looking for financial security, professional acknowledgment, spiritual attainment? Do you want to fit better socially, or become more expressive creatively? Establish the goal that's right for you.

Then turn that goal from a dream into a desire. You want to realize that goal, not just wish for it. Aesop said, "Beware that you do not lose the substance by grabbing at the shadow." Know exactly what you want, then go for it.

Don't be tricked by your own procrastination - especially if you want to achieve something artistic. The writer Thomas Wolfe wrote, "I had been sustained by that delightful illusion of success which we all have when we dream about the books we are going to write instead of actually doing them. Now I was face to face with it, and suddenly I realized that I had committed my life and my integrity so irrevocably to this struggle that I must conquer now or be destroyed."

Can you see what you want? If you want the abundance of material wealth that money provides, what goal will give you that money? Do you want the prestige of owning your own business? What business do you want to begin?

Where are the opportunities for you? Talk to everyone in the business you want to join. Make friends in the literary or art societies in your area. Read books and articles about your field of endeavor. How can you attain your goal?

"If you don't want to work, you have to work to earn enough money so that you don't have to work," wrote Ogden Nash. And isn't that the way" Money makes money; success breeds success. But not always. How can you break through those thoughts to help yourself to the rewards?

Henry David Thoreau wrote, "I have learned this at least by my experiment: that if you advance confidently in the direction of your dreams, and endeavor to live the life which you imagine, you will meet with success."

Think big and visualize success. Do you see yourself in a big house? Maybe you picture your artwork hanging in a gallery. Can you feel your book in print and in your hands? How does it feel to be a person of success? Believe that you are; believe that it is in your grasp. That's what the others did, and that's how people make it to the top.

Then get down to basics. Be precise. Exactly how much money do you want, and by what date? And exactly what are you going to do to earn that money? Be realistic, but give yourself short-term goals.

Write it down. In six months or one year, you will have how much money. And repeat it until it feels good. Then repeat it twice a day until it swirls in your subconscious, until it becomes your one-pointed goal.

"The goal stands up, the keeper stands up to keep the goal," wrote A.E. Housman.

Keys To Success

Make people feel at ease. They will respond to your needs as you respond to theirs.

Share the spotlight. Give credit to those who deserve it - and to those who strive. Don't grab praise away from other people.

Have confidence in your own value. Don't do anything that won't credit your own self-respect. Follow up your actions as they reflect your own self-worth.

Listen well to others' comments. Then weigh your own actions. Cultivate relationships with people who have good and important things to say.

Participate in life. Be active in business meetings and endeavors; volunteer to be part of organizations and groups. Social interaction will boost your sense of well-being .

Feel worthy of your own goal. Know that you can attain it and that it is right for you.

Grasp your own challenge. Don't give yourself impossible goals, but always reach higher.

Relax and be yourself. Each person is different and just as wonderful as the next. Don't be plagued by what you think others think of you.

Don't bathe in success - use it. Once you achieve your first goal, go on to others. Use the money you earn for the rewards you look for. Then go on to the next endeavor.

Be slow to criticize others' achievements. Find out how they did it and learn from them.

Never use subterfuge. Don't go behind someone's back. Speak your mind and earn respect.

Banish negative thoughts and traits. Restructure your life to exclude bad habits.

Believe in yourself and what you are to accomplish. All the power in the world is within you to achieve.

Work Towards Your Goal

"To get profit without risk, experience without danger, and reward without work, is as impossible as it is to live without being born," wrote A.P. Gouthey. Every person who has attained something worthwhile has worked for that goal.

Cary Grant said, "I do believe that people can do practically anything they set out to do if they apply themselves diligently and learn."

Which path is the right way towards your goal? Do you need more education? Do you need a few years experience in your field of business? Maybe you need a teacher or guide to help you practice.

"I have learned that success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached, as by the obstacles which are overcome while trying to succeed," wrote Booker T. Washington.

What obstacles are in your way? Consider them as easy to pass through as hurdles are to a champion runner. Take each obstacle as a special challenge placed especially for you. Approach it with intelligence and courage, then learn what it has to teach.

"Success is a journey," said Ben Sweetland, "not a destination." For some, the process of attainment is the attainment itself. They move on, keep growing and expanding. There is no still water at the top.

"The message from the moon is that no problem need any longer be considered insoluble," wrote Norman Cousins. And you can attain anything that seems impossible.

If you have a problem that needs to be solved, sit calmly and consider it with a clear mind. Observe all the consequences of the actions - both good and bad. Ponder the paths and actions and contemplate the core of the problem. The solution will appear.

"Ask and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened to you for everyone who asketh, receiveth. He that seeketh, findeth and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened."

Tap the inner self and encourage positive actions. With each outgoing breath, release the impossible; at each incoming breath, inhale the attainable. Demand the best of yourself, but don't despair from an overused sense of perfection.

What can you learn? And who can teach you? Can you attend classes and seminars from universities near home? Check out books from the libraries and absorb the material. Find a master and become an apprentice.

"Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty," said Henry Ford. "Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young."

Never stop learning; never stop growing and expanding as a person and in your personal endeavor.

Ask Yourself

As you consider the success you desire, you need to affirm its possibilities and develop the self-confidence necessary to attain the goals. Learn to do things well. "If you know how to do one thing well, you can do everything," wrote the philosopher Gurdjieff.

Are you ready for success?

Is what you are doing now helping you to achieve your goals?

Do you weigh the consequences before making a decision?

Is this the best use of your time?

Do you cooperate with everyone and help cultivate their best potentials?

Are you warm and sincere?

Do you have the courage to succeed?

Do you have the self-discipline necessary to achieve your goals?

Do you have a realistic sense of self-worth?

Do you give more than you take?

Do you have the courage to fail, and then pick up and try again?

Can you assume responsibility without blaming others if things go wrong?

Are you strong?

Can you be sympathetic to life and its sufferings?

Can you say no?

Will you follow your convictions and plans to achieve?

Do you sincerely want to achieve the goals you have chosen?

Taking Responsibility

"The price of greatness is responsibility," wrote Winston Churchill. Are you willing to take the responsibility once you attain the success you desire?

"The deepest personal defeat suffered by human beings is constituted by the difference between what one was capable of becoming and what one has in fact become," wrote Ashley Montague. And the greatest tragedy is to become less than your full potential, using less than the abilities you have to work with.

Are you waiting for something to happen? Maybe you're waiting for a job offer, or a promotion. Perhaps you're waiting until you get good enough at a craft or skill. Or are you waiting for the inspiration of creativity to strike your life?

It is up to you to take the actions and be responsible for their consequences. "Our responsibility: every opportunity, an obligation; every possession, a duty," wrote John D. Rockefeller, Jr.

Inspire yourself. Read books that will spurn you to action; talk to people who have the vitality you admire. How would you like to lead your life? And make the changes necessary to be like that. "There is nothing permanent except change," wrote Heraclitus. What changes do you want to make? What are you waiting for?

Accomplishment

What actions will take you closer to your goals? Decide upon the steps and write them down. Review them until you feel comfortable with those steps. Then repeat them at least once a day, crossing them off as you accomplish them.

"I believe there is no escape from the rule that We must do many, many little things to accomplish even just one big thing," said James Dupont. "This gives me patience when I need it most."

The most rewarding accomplishments are those that take long to achieve and present difficulties. It is only through these difficulties that a person can rise above the rest to be the unusual, the outspoken and the well-deserved.

As if building a kit, follow your own instructions. Decide your best courses of action and achieve their benefits. Whether the steps are small or large, make them achievable and then do them. Don't commit yourself to things that you never intend to do.

"Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there," said Will Rogers. Don't be paralyzed by inaction; rather act upon your own convictions.

Set yourself up for rewards. Don't give yourself goals that have no feeling of satisfaction or no monetary rewards. If you want to be an artist, be the best and learn from the best. Don't dwell on imperfections or the awkwardness of unpolished skills.

If you go into business, do it for profit or reinvestment. "In business, the earning of profit is something more than an incident of success. It is an essential condition of success. Because the continued absence of profit itself spells failure," said Justice Brandeis.

Marchant wrote, "To be a success in business, be daring, be first, be different." Think of ways to achieve the best; formulas to increase productivity or decrease overhead. Profit is your drive.

"Profitability is the sovereign criterion of the enterprise," wrote Peter Drucker. And, profitability is the core of any achievement - whether financial or artistic.

Once you achieve your goals, think of ways to benefit others. "Money-getters are the benefactors of our race," said P.T. Barnum. "To them we are indebted for our institutions of learning, and of art, our academies, colleges and churches." How can you benefit humankind and still keep enough to fulfill your own desires?

The Hidden Asset

Not all success can be counted in dollars; not all richness is measured by money. "The great secret of success is to go through life as a person who never gets used up," said Albert Schweitzer. "Retire upon yourself and look for the ultimate cause of things inside you."

Look within yourself for the ultimate inspiration, and follow the true feelings you discover. "One of my favorite methods is to whisper," said Alfred Hitchcock. "I've discovered the best work is done with sweet reason."

Act upon your own conscience -that guides; that judges your actions and signals your behavior. "Conscience is the inner voice that warns us that someone may be looking," wrote H.L. Mencken.

Accomplish what you desire; fulfill your inner yearnings. But don't compromise your deepest feelings.

"We do our best that we know how at the moment, and if it doesn't turn out, we modify it," said F.D. Roosevelt.

Follow the paths that life offers you and live the fullest existence you can.

Take A Look

Look at yourself and look at those who have succeeded throughout history. Do you have what it takes? Even if you have only a few of the qualities of the other great people, you can achieve your heart's desire.

Reach for the highest, then reach higher. Accomplish your steps one by one on a daily basis, always moving forward, always making progress. Encourage yourself. Insist that you can succeed and affirm these thoughts daily.

Keep a sense of proportion and judge for yourself. Then keep busy at the tasks you've set out to accomplish. What's keeping you? "Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration," said Albert Einstein.

Find inspiration wherever you can. Talk to people; read about people; learn your business or craft. Believe that you can do it and you will. The only way to dispel the doubt that you can do something is to finish it.

Always be the best you can be. Never fall short from fatigue or lethargy. Don't attempt to do anything that you can't give your all to.

There is no way to inner satisfaction without appealing to the higher consciousness. Search within and without to find the paths that are meant for you and follow them with conviction and a steady heart. And, you will succeed to become as rich and full as you ever desired.

Harold Ickes wanted the "freedom to live one's life with the window of the soul open to new thoughts, new ideas and new aspirations."

And Woody Allen looked for a clear path. "If only God would give me some clear sign" he said. "Like making a large deposit in my name at a Swiss bank."

Finally, Sophie Tucker sums up everyone's worldly outlook: "I've been rich and I've been poor," she said. "Rich is better."
